Martonvásár is a small town blessed with very good conditions, situated between Budapest and Székesfehérvár, next to the motorway and railway running from the capital towards Lake Balaton. Our town is noted for the Brunsvik palace and the beautiful „English Garden”, and we are considered to be the centre of the Hungarian Beethoven cult as well, with the summer concerts of the musical works by the composer. The park is also the scene of the Centre for Agricultural Research of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences, one of the centres of the European agricultural innovations.
Our town has not been able to exploit its capacities offered by its location for decades after the change of regime. The excellent infrastructure and the highly-skilled workforce make Martonvásár suitable for receiving more significant industrial investments. Thus me as mayor, together with the own leadership, would like to do our utmost in the forthcoming years to promote the development of the town and to make it attractive for our potential investors.
I hope that more of you will visit us not only as tourist but also as partners whom we can plan the future of our town and your business with.
